  5. Citus Tree Fertilizer
I need information on fertilizing my citrus trees.

Container citrus trees need a slow-release fertilizer. Soluble fertilizers tend to drain from the container base or release their nutrients too fast. Texas A&M University AgriLife Extension recommends Osmocote for container citrus, but any general gradual release fertilizer such as 15-9-12 will work. Apply the fertilizer granules or pellets to the soil around the citrus tree in early spring — around mid-March. The fertilizer should last long enough to cover the entire growing season.

Prospective interns are required to attend upcoming Information Meeting at the Parker County Extension Office (604 N Main Street, Weatherford, TX 76086).
